Where do I start?
The first step is to set up a customer account through our online store. To set up your account, please look for a blue Create Account tab on the top right corner of our homepage. You can use your account to monitor the status of your current order, view your order history, and pre-authorize a credit card (once that is available). Once you've established an account with us, fill your cart and then head over to the checkout page to complete your order.
How does pricing work for meat?
The price listed for each cut is a per pound price unless otherwise stated (bulk items). The average weight of each cut is listed to give you an idea of how much meat you'll be receiving, and based on that average weight, you'll be given an estimated cost at checkout. As we put together your order, we'll weigh each package in order to calculate an exact total for you.
How do I pay for my order?
As we work on setting up an online payment system, we ask for the time being that you pay with a check or card at the farmers market or on-farm pick up location when you pick up.
Once we have packed your order, we will send you an email telling you your order is ready for pick-up. You will get a calculated and exact grand total for your order in an Order is Ready email. We ask that if you choose to pay by check at pick-up, you have a check already made out to the Warren Wilson College Farm for the exact total listed on your Order is Ready email.
If you ordered a WWC Forestry Product please have a check made out to Warren Wilson College with your total ready when you come to pick up your order.
How long before each Saturday market do I need to place my order?
We will pack orders every Friday for the following Saturday's market. So as long as you have your order in by 8am Friday, your order will be ready the next day. If you put your order in later, there is still a chance we may pack it, but it is not guaranteed. To be certain that your order will be available at the market be sure that you have received an Order is Ready email.
How will I know when my order is ready?
You'll receive an email notification from us once we've finished processing your order. This email will be separate from the automatic email confirmation that you'll receive once you've placed your order. It will include all the details you need to know about how to pick up your goods!

We have two pickup locations. Be sure to select your prefered location when you place your order.

What if I don't see a retail item I want?
Send us an email at email@example.com. We may be getting more in stock soon, we may be able to have something custom cut for you, or it's possible that our inventory may be off. One way or another we will try to get you the retail cut you are looking for.
What if I don't see a bulk item I want?
Check back soon! Throughout the fall we will be processing animals (beef, pork, and lamb) and will update the store inventory as soon as we know what will be available for the next market.
