Beef Liver Pâté
Beef Liver Pâté This will give you about 12 servings of some very buttery Pâté (this is typically a snack kind of thing for me but go nuts). You will need a blender for this recipe, otherwise it won't be as smooth or creamy

Directions

Ingredients

  • 8 oz beef liver chopped
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 oz cream cheese warmed
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • Make sure you salt and pepper your food!

Steps

  • Melt butter in a large skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Once melted add chopped onion and beef liver. Sauté until the liver is cooked through and the onion is tender. Add minced garlic in the final minute and cook until fragrant.
  • Place liver, onion, garlic, and butter in a blender and puree. You can add a few splashes of cream if it isn't pureeing easily.
  • Add remaining ingredients to the blender and puree until smooth. Taste for salt and adjust as needed.
  • Pâté can be served immediately and tastes great with a crusty baguette or crackers and can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. 

Typically this snack is served chilled, please add any toppings you think would pair well
