All of the beef we sell is born here on the Warren Wilson Farm and husbanded by our student crew all year long. Calves are born in the springtime, graze our upland fescue pastures with their mothers in the summer, and in fall are weaned to graze our lowland fields with a selected mix of highly nutritious species. This blend of grasses, forbs and legumes are rotationally grazed by our yearling herds until they reach finishing weights at 18-22 months. These forages, combined with a specially blended kelp based mineral make for some of the most delicious and nutrient dense beef you will find. All of our beef is free of antibiotics, free of chemical dewormers, free of growth hormones, pasture raised and 100% grassfed and finished.
